Sensory fun!

During the summer, we started going to Poynton children's centre to a sensory session they ran for children with additional needs.  The equipment they have is fab and I think the hour is as beneficial to me as it is to Ella.  Caroline, who runs the group puts a lot of work and imagination into making each session different and engaging.  Ella particularly loves the bubble tube, rope lights and the foil blanket.
Unfortunately, due to funding cuts (and the fact that Ella and I were often the only ones there) the sessions were discontinued after the summer holidays.

Much to my delight, I received an email saying a one-off session was to be held, with a view to starting the group again.  We went along, with Daniel and his mum Nicola.

...Foil blanket (Ella's favourite)

...Daniel & Ella loved lying on the floor as we played peek-a-boo with the foil blanket

Here's hoping that the sessions start again soon.....
