Ella was unwell last week and we ended up taking her to A&E with vomiting. They admitted her for fluids and observation and she was in hospital for two days. She was mostly fine throughout (apart from the temp of 38.9 in the middle of the night and the doctors and nurses messing with her). She was put back on antibiotics and we were allowed home on the 23rd. She is much better now, although her back teeth are bothering her as well.... No sign of them yet though.
She remained happy and playful despite being poorly....
As you can see, she was ok!
I couldn't resist the elephant novelty helium balloon they were selling in the shop...
There was a bit of excitement when the Manchester United players came round giving out Christmas presents. I had no idea who they were, but they were all very nice! (later informed by my brother it was Phil Jones, Nani & Danny Welbeck).... And she was wearing team colours!
Uncle Tommy and Uncle Henry were not happy about this at all! Wrong city...wrong colour... wrong team!

Here are a few pics from Christmas. We had a lovely few days at my mums with good food, company and fun...
I had to work on Christmas day but it was a lovely shift with lovely people (staff and patients) and made the longer than usual journey to work worth it.
Singing and dancing Christmas tree from Great Granny and Grandpa Judson...
The following was my attempt at a tradition started by my Grandpa David.... the snowman for the table bearing individual gifts attached to ribbons for each guest... the rustic, falling apart look is intended (honest...!). In true Grandpa snowman fashion, the hat was wonky, the cotton wool started to fall to bits and the gifts got stuck and tangled, but that's half the fun....
Tom and Vicki joined us later on Christmas day so their presents waited under the tree
Ella's pile!
mmmm... wonder what this could be??
Last years Christmas passed me by in a bit of a blur. My lasting memory is of tiny Ella fast asleep in her Moses basket, surrounded by presents.....
Ella's new discovery xx
